About Nea Makri
Nea Makri (Νεα Μακρη) is a town that is located in East Attica, Greece – within the municipality of Marathon and within the Athens Metropolitan Area.
Not too far from Athens, this is a beautiful location if you want to stay on the mainland yet feel the “holiday” vibe due to sea-front location.
Enjoy daily walks by the sea with beautiful, crystal blue waters and with plenty of places that you can stop by to enjoy a coffee, ice cream, light snacks or traditional food. You won’t find any tourist traps here..

La Veranda – Nea Makri
A truly beautiful cafe-bar that is decorated with fairy-lights all-year-round.
Serving drinks, light snacks and sweet treats. Providing a wide range of coffee, drinks and hot chocolate to suit all tastes.
This is a popular place with the locals and is busy all throughout the week, especially on weekends and summer season.
Visiting during the winter season? We recommend trying their Hot Chocolate Snickers Flavour – amazing.

Seacret All Day Bar – Nea Makri
More than a cafe, this is a wonderful place that you can stop by when walking along the seafront of Nea Makri.
Offering a fantastic range of light snacks, food (including Pizza and Chips), desserts, coffee and fresh fruit smoothies. You will find something for everyone to enjoy.
A wonderful atmosphere that is calming yet vibrant and beautifully decorated in-style.
Located by the seafront, you have two dedicated areas that you can sit in.
During the summer season, the bar opens up so even when you sit inside – it’s like you’re outside.
In the bar, you have a higher-elevated level so you can sit and admire the beautiful sea-views.
Outside, there’s a garden area, again with sea-views but on a lower level.

Magko Cafe – Nea Makri
From sunrise to sunset, enjoy your coffee, cocktail or light snacks all by the beach.
You can choose classic coffee’s including Frappe, Freddo Cappucino and Freddo Espresso or you can opt for snacks including a large portion of fries.

In addition, you order your drinks and then go to the large fridge in the same area – taking your drinks with you to your table.
Once your food is ready, it’s brought to your table.
