1. Watermelon Citrus Drop

A refreshing watermelon cocktail recipe for when you’re relaxing on a summer evening.
Ingredients
2oz Vodka
1oz Fresh Watermelon Juice.
1oz Fresh Lime – Lemon or Orange can be used as an alternative.
1/2oz Triple Sec
Half teaspoon white caster sugar.
Method
In a glass, add your vodka, fresh watermelon juice, triple sec and white caster sugar. Honey can be used as an alternative.
Mix everything until the sugar or honey has completely dissolved-mixed.
Add your fresh lime into the glass. You can use lemon or orange, according to your taste.
Dip your cocktail glass into the sugar. Pour your cocktail and serve.
You can add a slice of orange or watermelon to the glass, for a decorative look – it’s up to you. Enjoy.
2. Cherry and Watermelon Frose

Sweet and fruity, this is a lovely treat on warm days.
Ingredients
1 Cup Frozen Watermelon Cubes
Half Cup Frozen Cherries – Morello or Sour Cherries (Jarred) can also be used.
1oz Simple Syrup
1oz Vodka or Rose Wine (Chilled)
Squeeze of Lime
Sugar Optional
How To Make – Method
In a smoothie blender – Add your frozen watermelon, cherries, vodka, simple syrup and a squeeze of lime.
Additional sweetness. Add half a teaspoon or sugar or honey.
Blend all the ingredients together for a slushie-type texture.
For a thicker consistency, use only frozen fruit and cherries or more ice cubes.
Pour into a lovely cocktail glass and serve.
3. Strawberry, Watermelon and Mint Refresher

Slightly different, this takes on a refreshing taste and you can top-up with soda to make things lighter.
Fantastic for days when you want something fresh and easy so you can enjoy the sunshine setting in the garden.
2oz Fresh Watermelon Juice
2oz Fresh Strawberry Puree
1oz Tequila
Fresh Lime or Lemon
Simple Syrup – Can be adjusted to taste
5 Fresh Mint Leaves
Hint of Vanilla Syrup – Optional
Soda – Optional
Easy How To Method
In a glass, bring together the fresh watermelon juice, strawberry puree (you can add more if you want more sweetness or flavour), tequila, fresh lime, simple syrup and mint leaves.
Crush the mint leaves slightly before adding them to your mixture as this will release the minty-flavour.
You can then take out the crushed mint leaves, before serving, adding fresh mint leaves to the glass you’re going to serve the drink in.
Pour into your glass and you can top-up with soda if you want less flavour.
For those of you who enjoy strawberry puree, add half a teaspoon in the glass, before serving.
4. Sweet Watermelon Cosmo

Lovely and sweet Watermelon. An easy summer cocktail that can be enjoyed throughout the year – especially during the warmer months.
Ingredients
2oz Sweet Watermelon Juice
2oz Vodka
1oz Cointreau
Half Fresh Lime
Vanilla Syrup or Simple Syrup
Method
Bring all the ingredients together and mix.
Serve.
Optional, you can a few ice cubes to your serving glass and enjoy.
5. Grape and Watermelon Lemonade

Another fruity and sweet cocktail that can easily be made into a mocktail.
Ingredients
2oz Grape Juice – Sweetened
2oz Fresh Watermelon
1oz Vodka
Spoon of Strawberry Puree
Hint of Lime
Simple Syrup – Optional
Soda or Sparkling Water – Optional
Quick Drink Method
Bring all of your ingredients together, leaving out the Strawberry puree and Sparkling Water.
Once everything is mixed well, in a glass add some strawberry puree and pour your drink. Squeeze a hint of lime in and add a little bit of simple syrup for sweetness or according to your taste.
To dilute or take this to a refreshing level, top-up with sparkling water.
Easily make this a mocktail by leaving out the vodka.
